Within our in-depth survey we have identified and listed the
most appropriate and advantageous equipment and chemicals required
to carry out the duties in line with tender instructions. At the
commencement of a contract all machinery and equipment is new and
along with our in-house training of equipment, Numatic also carries
out training to ensure the correct use of all machinery and
chemicals.
• COSHH Policy and System
Through our COSHH policy the assessment system on all products
and equipment used is held on computer, which enables us to
continually upgrade, revise and carry regular review assessments on
all chemicals and substances. We provide in depth information on
all assessments carried out to be used as purposeful training aids
and form part of each employee's induction and ongoing safety
training.
This system has also enabled us to provide safe working conditions
and a cleaner, protected environment by removing certain products
such as those containing CFC propellants and PDCB from our
purchasing list. A complete COSHH Manual of assessed chemicals is
held at each contract site location.
