London commercial cleaners will be happy to hear that the City
has been described as a 'unique investment', which could signify a
future spike in demand for their services.
Matt Oakley, director of commercial research at Savills has
voiced his opinion about the city in a recent report stressing that
the perception of the city is appealing to foreign investors.
What could entice foreign investors is the structure of the UK's
landlord-tenant agreements. According to Oakley the UK's agreements
could prove to be more appealing to investors as insurance and
maintenance costs are taken on by the leaseholder, rather than the
owner of the building.
Oakley commented: "This essentially makes UK commercial property
a pretty unique investment in terms of the security of the income
that you get."
He also added that investors are searching for what they call
"safe havens", of which London has been classed.
Additionally it has been reported that the majority of the money
coming into the capital is being invested into the commercial
property market, which could suggest that London commercial
cleaners may have a promising future.
